Amy Tan’s “Mothers Tongue” and Langston Hughes’s poem. My Synthesis essay also discussed This topic.

Including a clear argument with credible sources to support it.	3	I learned how to build a text with a clear argument/stance with credible sources to support it by writing my Synthesis essay and using the library resources to make sure my resources were credible.

Learning how to use citation standards rules accurately and regularly/ efficiently.	3	I learned how to do this when I was writing about my Synthesis essay and had to cite everything at the end and even when I was trying to integrate the citation to the paragraph.
